There are three examples of this fatigue testing machine at the Lightweight Structures Laboratory. This hydraulic test machine has 10 kN as standard load but may be fitted with a smaller load for better accuracy and higher resolution when testing small and/or week parts at low loads. The PC digital control unit enables constant amplitude loading sequence as well as spectrum fatigue loading. It may be run under load, displacement or strain control. It can be fitted with any of our purpose built climate chambers for hot or hot/wet fatigue testing.
