The Olympus BX50 microscope has the magnification opportunities 2.5, 5, 10, 20, 100 and it is possible to post process and visualise elements up to μm-size.

Next to the microscope, there is a polish/grinder machine, Vector Power Head for polishing of glass or crystals. This machine has the capacity of machining 1 to 4 samples with the cylindrical size of 32 mm.
